A friend of mine turned me on to the Hovalin which is a very interesting project/design by HOVA LABS.

The concept is, with an existing 3D printer, you can purchase all the required elements and print a fully functional Violin for under $100. I decided that it was interesting enough to try out and decided to document my experience here.
